Suggested itinerary
Day 1-Drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After morning breakfast you will drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area, the crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the big five, it is a great way to start your African safari and you will expect abundant wildlife and birds in the crater floor
Day 2-Full day game drive in Ngorongoro crater
After morning breakfast with packed lunch, you will descent to the crater floor with the main mission is to encounter the African big five of a lion, Rhino, leopard, elephant, and Buffalo which are permanent residents in the crater After a phenomenal game drive you will return to the lodge for overnight
Day 3-Drive to southern Serengeti national park for game drives
After morning game drive you will start your drive to Southern Serengeti national park, this is one of the top safari meccas during the Wildebeest Migration, the migrating herds spend more time in the Ndutu, Lake Masek, and the Ngorongoro conservation area upon arrival you will check in to the lodge and relax, after relaxation you will then do an evening game drive, here you will follow the calving herds and later return to the lodge for relaxation
Day 4-Full day game drives in southern Serengeti national park
After morning breakfast with packed lunch, you will start your full-day game drive by following the wildebeest herds that are busy birthing birth, and this is one of the best chances to see live action of predators hunting and later you will return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight
Day 5-Full day game drives in southern Serengeti national park
After an exciting previous day, you will head out to the Ndutu plains to follow the wildebeest herds as you look for the predators like Cheetahs, lions, leopards, and Hyenas that are always waiting for the easy catch newborn wildebeest calves
Day 6-Drive to Tarangire national park for game drives
After morning breakfast you will start your drive to Tarangire national park which is home to African elephants and baobab trees, you will enjoy an evening sundowner game drive in the park with drinks and snacks and later return to the lodge for relaxation
Day 7-Drive to Kilimanjaro for your flight to the Zanzibar Archipelago
After you’re morning breakfast depending on the flight schedule to Zanzibar you will depart Tarangire national park for Kilimanjaro upon arrival you check-in for your flight to Zanzibar, upon landing in Zanzibar you will be received and transferred to the lodge for relaxation on the beach and overnight
Day 8- Day at leisure in the Zanzibar Archipelago
This will be a day at leisure however activities can be arranged upon request
Day 9-Day at leisure in the Zanzibar Archipelago
After laziness morning break you will enjoy a boat cruise on the Indian Ocean, this boat trip will take you to the historic islands and you will also see beautiful birds and other wonderful attractions
Day 10-Depart Zanzibar for your outbound flight
Depending on your flight schedule you will bid farewell to the lodge and transfer to the airport for your outbound flight
