2 days tree Lodge Safari Kenya – The Ark Lodge, treetop and Aberdere country club – View wildlife from the Lodge

Great Adventure Safaris brings you a 2 days tree lodge safari in Kenya designed for those with limited time and who wish to enjoy a short safari in Kenya. This 2 days safari takes you through the small industrial town of Thika surrounded by extensive pineapple plantations. After crossing the Tana River, the source of much of Kenya’s Hydropower, the landscape changes and becomes lusher as you climb into the rich farmlands of the Kikuyu people. The night is spent and where a procession of wild animals visits the floodlight water hole and salt licks. Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalos, giant forest hogs, and many other species are commonly seen.

Tree Lodge – 2 Days Safari

There are three “Tree Lodges” in the vicinity of Nyeri about 160Kms North of Nairobi. Treetops and the Ark are in the forest of the Aberdare Mountains and Mountain Lodge is on the slopes of Mountain Kenya.

DAY One – Nairobi city – Tree Lodge

This drive passes the small industrial town of Thika surrounded by extensive pineapple plantations. After crossing the Tana River, the source of much of Kenya’s Hydropower, the landscape changes and becomes lusher as you climb into the rich farmlands of the Kikuyu people. You will have a lunch en-route at the Outspan Hotel in Nyeri town for visitors visiting Tree Tops, at Mountain Lodge, and Aberdare’s Country Club for visitors visiting Ark. In the afternoon proceed to your Tree Lodge where the night is spent and where a procession of wild animals visits the floodlight water hole and salt licks. Elephants, Rhino, buffalo, giant forest hog, and many other species are commonly seen. Overnight at The Ark / Treetops Tree Lodge.

DAY Two – Tree Lodge to Nairobi city

In the morning after breakfast, descend back to your base hotel and proceed back to Nairobi city in the afternoon. Be dropped at the hotel or the Airport.
