5 days fly in Mgahinga gorillas & Lake Mburo Safari – Mgahinga gorilla national park is one of the prime gorilla trekking destinations in East Africa, the park is located on the border between Rwanda’s Volcanoes national park and the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Virunga national park, the park is also home to the endangered golden monkeys that live the greater Virunga massif
After morning breakfast you will be picked from your hotel and transfer to Entebbe airport for your domestic flight to Kisoro airstrip, upon arrival you will be received and transfer to the lodge for relaxation and later you will be transferred to Lake Mutanda for a boat cruise and later return to the lodge for relaxation
After morning breakfast you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trek by the park rangers, after the briefing you will then drive to the trailhead to start your trek, upon locating the mountain gorillas you will spend 1 hour with them and later return to the Lodge
After lazily breakfast you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation, the drive takes about 2 hours to Uganda’s deepest lake, the lake is of great historical importance to the Bakiga and the Batwa trip that live on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, later in the evening you will do an evening sundowner where you will expect to see local fishermen, beautiful birds, and the historical islands
After morning breakfast you will start your drive to Uganda’s smallest savannah national park where you will do an evening game drive in searches of wildlife like Zebra, impalas, Elands, Giraffes, Buffalo, Hippos, Top, Warthog, and leopard, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight
After an early morning coffee, you will transfer to the park to meet the rangers for a walking safari experience on foot to encounter African wildlife, after you will return to the lodge for late breakfast and after you will start your drive to Entebbe via the Equator line, upon arrival you will be transferred to your lodge or the airport for your outbound
