5 days Queen Elizabeth & tree climbing lion safari – Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most popular National Park in Uganda, proven by many travelers visiting Uganda. It was named after the visit of the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II, in 1952. The National Park has the most diverse habitats making it a home to numerous bird species, animals, insects, reptiles and amphibians, and mammal species.
It is famous for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, crater lakes, forested gorges, Savannah plains, swamps, rivers, and the beautiful Kazinga Channel home to an abundance of wildlife. Queen Elizabeth National Park has the highest number of bird species in Uganda and any protected area in East Africa. There is Chimpanzee tracking in the ‘underground’ forest in Kyambura Gorge and the nearby Kalinzu eco-forest.

Today you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park the medley of wonders located in southwestern Uganda. The trip to Queen Elizabeth will give you opportunities to see remarkable landscapes and scenery in Uganda’s countryside. You will pass agricultural fields of banana plantations and tea of different people working or seated by the stalls of crafts or fresh fruits and vegetable markets. Most homes are by the roadside for easy access to transport but also because they have access to amenities like power and water.
You will have a stopover at the Equator line experiencing life in both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres. Lunch will be at Igongo Cultural Museum home of Ankore Culture.

Today begin the morning game drive as you explore the adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This National Park offers the ultimate wildlife safari experience with the highest biodiversity of any protected area in East Africa. The morning game drive starts in the early morning to the Kasenyi plains searching for predators and grazers on a game drive in your safari vehicles.
Return to the lodge for lunch after which you will take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This offers an excellent opportunity for photography moments of Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants, and magnificent bird species by the water.

After your morning breakfast at 7:00 am you will then drive to the Ishasha sector arriving in the sector before lunch and drive around in search of the tree-climbing lions before lunch. Drive to your lodge for a hot lunch and relax for a short time before driving back to the Ishasha plains for an evening game drive in search of more wildlife including the tree-climbing lions.

This Morning, get a quick coffee cup with breakfast at the lodge and leave for a full-day wildlife search game drive. Still, in the Ishasha plains, you expect to see different kinds of Antelopes, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Hippos, bird species, and much more. You may choose to go back to the lodge for a hot lunch and later go back for the evening game drive before relaxing at the lodge for dinner and overnight.
