Detailed safari itinerary
Day 1-Pick up from Kigali transfer to Kibale forest national park
After morning breakfast at your Lodge, our guide will pick you up from the Lodge and transfer you to Uganda’s Kibale forest national park where you expect to encounter the chimpanzees in the wild in one of Africa’s dense lowland rainforest at the edge of the Albertine rift valley
Day 2- Chimpanzee trekking in the morning and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
After morning breakfast you will transfer to the forest for a briefing by the Uganda wildlife authority and after you will be split into small groups and you will meet your ranger for the day and you will head into the forest to trek the chimpanzees and thereafter you will return to the lodge for relaxation and after relaxation, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
Day 3-Short game drives in the morning boat cruise at 11 am and drive to Bwindi in the afternoon
Depending on how you wish you will either do a short morning game drive or relax at the lodge after you will transfer to the Kazinga channel for a boat cruise where you expect to see crocodiles, hippos, elephants and abundant birdlife at 11 am after you will then drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park for overnight
Day 4- Gorilla trekking experience and transfer Lake Bunyonyi
After morning breakfast our guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to the briefing point for gorilla trekking where you will meet with the rangers who will brief you on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking and thereafter you set off for the trek and after gorilla trek, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and after you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation
Day 5- Lazily morning and transfer Kigali
After lazily breakfast you can do some optional activities and after you will bid farewell to the lodge and transfer to Kigali for your outbound flight or overnight stay
