Safari Detailed Itinerary
Day 1-pick up from Bukavu or Goma border post and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depending on the border point where your safari will start from, Our guide will pick you up and drive you to Uganda via Rwanda, upon arrival at the Cyanika border post you’re clear with the customs and later continue to Bwindi impenetrable national park for check-in and relaxation at your lodge
Day 2-Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi forest
After morning breakfast you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a gorilla briefing from the park rangers, after the briefing you will then transfer to the trailhead to start your trek, upon locating the Mountain gorilla family you will spend 1 hour with the gorillas and later return to the lodge for relaxation
Day 3-Forest walks in Bwindi forest
After lazily morning you will transfer to the park headquarters again for a beautiful forest walk in search of different species of monkeys, birds, and other forest dwellers, this walk will give more feeling of the rain-forest and after you will return to the lodge for lunch and relax for the rest of the day as you enjoy the stunning views from your lodge balcony as you sip an ice-cold drink
Day 4-Drive to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation
After lazily breakfast you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi for your relaxation, you will be aiming to arrive in time for lunch and take a siesta and later in the evening you may visit the village or take a walk around the lodge
Day 5-Day at leisure and Boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi
You will spend the morning at leisure as you relax at the shores of one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda, later in the evening you will take a sunset boat cruise on the lake where you expect to meet local fishermen and beautiful historical islands and birds and later you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 6-Drive back to DR Congo
After morning breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and start your drive back to DR Congo, upon arrival at the border our guide will drop off the immigration office and then you continue into DRC
