Detailed itinerary
Day 1- Arrival in Kilimanjaro and transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, you will be transferred to Arusha for overnight and relaxation and we recommend booking flights that arrive early in Tanzania so that you have enough preparation and shopping to save time
Day 2 –Drive to Ndutu area south of Serengeti
After morning breakfast you will transfer to southern Serengeti national park in the Ndutu area which is one of the top places to stay during the great wildebeest migration, the vast plains will blow your mind away as you get ready to start the search of the wildebeest herds that are preparing to cross from Tanzania to Kenya in what is regarded as the greatest wildlife spectacle in Africa
Day 3- Full day game drive
With picnic lunch, after early morning breakfast in an open roof game vehicle you will take a full day game drive following the wildebeest as they attempt to plunge into the Mara River and if you’re lucky you may witness the crossing
Day 4- Full day Game drive
Yet another dusty day in the open plains of the Serengeti you will get your binoculars out and your camera plus enough drinks with picnic lunch head out for a full day game drive following the wildebeest as they attempt to cross the mara river
Day 5 – Optional Hot air Balloon ride and transfer to Ngorongoro for sundowner game drive
Depart early for the nocturnal game drive and later meet with the crew for the hot air balloon and take some of the magical aerial flights over the vast plains of the mighty Serengeti as you watch over wildlife and later enjoy bush breakfast and transfer back to the refreshment and later drive to Ngorongoro crater for an evening sundowner game drive
Day 6- Drive back to Arusha for the outbound flight
After lazily breakfast depending on your flight schedule you will depart Ngorongoro crater for Kilimanjaro airport for your outbound flight
