Day One: Nairobi City to Samburu National Reserve

Your safari starts on this day after a safari briefing with your driver guide and then departs for the dramatic Semi-Arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier. You will arrive in Samburu in time for lunch. After lunch embarks on a game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Dinner and overnight will be at the spectacular Samburu Simba Lodge

Day Two: Full day exploring Samburu National Reserve

You will spend this full day exploring the park searching for wildlife in Samburu National Reserve. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Samburu Simba Lodge. The highlights of Samburu National Reserve are the spectacular scenic beauty, Rivers, and Forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes Leopard, Hippo, Elephant, Lion, Reticulated giraffes, Gravy’s zebra, and Crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries.

Day Three: Samburu National Reserve to Lake Nakuru.

On this day you will transfer to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at your lodge, located inside the Lake Nakuru National Park. In the afternoon you will embark on a game safari where you will have the opportunity to spot wildlife like Leopards, Rhino as well as a variety of other wildlife. Lake Nakuru has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the Black and White Rhinos, Lions, Waterbuck, Buffalo, and Baboons are all residents here. Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day Four: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

After your morning breakfast depart for Masai Mara National Reserve the land of vast migrating animals, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch embarks on a game safari and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight will be at Mara Simba Lodge or Similar.

Day Five and Six: Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

Full day in Masai Mara National Reserve with early morning and evening game drives with your driver-guide. You will explore one of the most famous and beautiful National Park in the world, you will have the opportunity to spot the Big Five with their associated predators which include the Buffalo, Rhino, Hippopotamus, Oribi, Warthogs, Thompson’s Gazelles, Zebra, Hartebeest among many others. All meals and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or Similar

The Mara Reserve offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see Lions, Rhinos, Hippos, Crocodiles, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Buffalo, Warthogs, Hyenas, Jackals, Wild dogs, Leopard, many kinds of antelopes, and Elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of Wildebeests and Zebras from the Serengeti National Park in search of water and fresh pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savannah-like Lions, Cheetah, and Wild dogs, Jackal, Hyena, and Vultures.

Day Seven: Transfer back to Nairobi City

After a leisurely breakfast, you will transfer back to Nairobi City where your 7 days Samburu, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara Safari with Great Adventure Safaris ends. Drop off point to be advised and if you have a flight your driver-guide will drop you at the Airport.
