Detailed itinerary
Day 1-Arrival in Entebbe international airport
A warm welcome to the pearl of Africa, upon arrival at Entebbe international airport our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the lodge overnight and relax and if time allows you will go shopping, change money before your flight to Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip depending on the location of your gorilla permits
Day 2-Fly to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe airport for your domestic flight to either Kihihi airstrip or Kisoro airstrip depending on the location and trekking point for your gorilla trekking experience, upon arrival at the airstrip our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the lodge for relaxation and overnight and if time allows you may do some optional activities at the lodge-like community walks, forest visits or Batwa pygmy walks
Day 3-Gorilla trekking experience
After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a gorilla briefing and later you will be split into small units of 8 people before meeting your ranger guide who will take you into the forest for the gorilla trekking experience which is usually one hour with the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat
Day 4-Drive to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park
After lazily breakfast you will drive to the south of Queen Elizabeth national park which is famous for tree-climbing lions that have adopted a behavior of climbing trees and this has been passed from generation to generation, upon arrival in Ishasha you have a short en-route game drive to the lodge for lunch and later you have an evening game drive in the park
Day 5- Drive to Kibale forest national park
After early morning breakfast with your luggage’s ready, packed lunch you will depart the lodge for an early morning game drive in the park and you will continue to the northern part of the park for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel at about 2 pm after the boat return at 4 pm you will drive to Kibale forest national park arriving in time for dinner and overnight
Day 6-Chimpanzee trekking experience
After morning breakfast you will transfer to the Kibale forest park headquarters for briefing about the chimpanzee trekking experience, after briefing you will drive to the starting point for the chimpanzee trekking experience, after finding the chimpanzees you will spend one hour with the chimps after you will return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight
Day 7-Drive back to Entebbe
After lazily breakfast you will start your drive back to Entebbe for your outbound flight or overnight depending on your schedule and our guide will transfer you to the airport or transfer you to your final destination
