Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1, Arrival at Entebbe international airport

Today upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met with a Great Adventure Safaris Representative who will transfer you to the Guesthouse or Hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay. Overnight at Airport Link Guest House

Day 2, cycling in Entebbe (morning and evening)

Today after breakfast, you will start your cycling adventure to visit different sites in Entebbe and these include the zoo, reptile villages, Lake Victoria, you will return to your lodge for lunch and a nap. In the evening, you will embark on visiting the botanical gardens and local markets in Entebbe. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Airport link Guest House

Day 3, Transfer to Jinja town – Boat ride to the source of the Nile

After a lazy breakfast, you will meet your driver/guide again and start your drive to Jinja town, the journey takes a 2-3 hours drive, and you will enjoy lunch and in the evening take a motorized canoe boat to explore the source of the Nile. After you will drive to the lodge overnight at the source of the Nile Hotel in Jinja.

Day 4, Jinja City tour – Nature trail

Today after breakfast, you will take a 20 – 25KM ride through the city and visit the historical and fundamental sites located in the city of Jinja, and the ride may take up to four hours, you will return to the hotel for lunch followed by a short relaxation, in the afternoon, you will embark on 10 – 15KM ride through the local villages near Bujagali falls and be keen to spot nature and wildlife like monkeys, reptiles and different bird species return to the hotel for dinner and overnight at the source of the Nile Hotel Jinja.

Day 5, Tea – Sugar Cane plantation trail (30-35KM)

After breakfast, you will cycle through the tea estates and sugar cane plantations. Explore the undulating hills along the Nile combined with tea and sugar plantations and the local communities and villages. The ride will take you up to 4-5 hours and in the afternoon, you will return to the hotel for lunch and enjoy the hotel in the evening. Overnight at Source of the Nile Hotel Jinja.

Day 6, Drive from Jinja town – Lake Mburo National park

Today, you will have breakfast at leisure and start your drive to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. The drive will take approximately 5-6 hours including the stops at the Equator for photography. Overnight at Rwakobo Rock.

Day 7, cycling safari to look for wildlife – Boat cruise on Lake Mburo

Today, after breakfast, with a ranger guide, you will start your cycling session in Lake Mburo National Park to look for wildlife and if you are lucky, you will be able to spot giraffe, zebras, elephants, and buffalos. You will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon drive to the peer for your 2 hours boat cruise on Lake Mburo and expect to see water animals and water birds. Return to the lodge overnight at Rwakobo Rock.

Day 8, Transfer back to Entebbe for your international flight out.

After breakfast, you will transfer back to Entebbe for your international flight out.
