Safari itinerary

Day 1-Pick up from Nimule, Oraba, or Kaya border post and transfer to Murchison falls

After clearing immigration at Nimule or Oraba border post our guide will receive you and transfer you to Murchison falls national park upon arrival in the park you drive to the Lodge for relaxation and overnight

Day 2-Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

With packed breakfast you will head out early morning to search for wildlife in the park, some of the common wildlife to look out for including Uganda Kob, Giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, Oribi, Buffalo, Elephants, Defassa waterbucks, Lions, leopard, hyenas, and many others after the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and later take an afternoon boat cruise to the base of Murchison falls en route you also expect to see the Nile crocodile, hippos and beautiful water birds 

Day 3-Drive to Kibale forest national park

After morning breakfast you will drive to the top of the falls for a short hike, after the hike you will then start your drive to Kibale forest national park via the rift valley block, upon arrival in fort portal you visit the market and then later drive to Kibale forest national park for overnight

Day 4-Chimpanzee trekking experience

After morning breakfast you will be transferred to Kanyanchu park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking by the park rangers, after the briefing, you will then drive to the trailhead and start you’re trekking into the forest, after locating the chimpanzees you will spend 1 hour with them and later return to the lodge for relaxation 

Day 5-Drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park

After a wonderful encounter with the chimpanzees, you will start your drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park, this scenic drive will take you through Queen Elizabeth national park and the rolling hills of Kigezi, upon arrival at the lodge you will then check into your lodge for relaxation 

Day 6-Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi forest

After morning breakfast at the lodge, your safari guide will pick you up and transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing about the gorilla trekking, after the briefing you will then drive to the trailhead where you will start your trek on foot to locate the mountain gorillas, after locating the Mountain gorillas you will spend 1 hour with them and later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight

Day 7-Drive to Kampala for overnight

After a great time with the Mountain gorillas, you will drive to Kampala overnight as you shorten the distance between Bwindi forest and Nimule or Oraba border post which is over 18 hours so you will overnight in Kampala

Day 8-Drive back to South Sudan

After early morning breakfast, you will start your drive back to South Sudan depending on the border point of exit your guide will then drive you to that border and drop you at the immigration office
