Safari itinerary

Day 1-Pick up from Malaba border and transfer to Kampala for overnight

After clearing immigration at the Malaba border our guide from Great adventure safaris will receive you at the border after you will start driving to Kampala where you will check-in in overnight in Uganda’s main capital

Day 2-Drive from Kampala to Kibale forest national park

After morning breakfast you will start your drive from Kampala via Mityana and Mubende through the beautiful landscapes of tea and forest reserves upon arrival in fort portal you will have lunch after lunch you will then drive to Kibale forest national park check-in and Overnight

Day 3-Chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale forest

After morning breakfast you will transfer to Kanyanchu park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking briefing by the park rangers, after the briefing, you will drive to the trailhead to start your trek, after locating the community of chimpanzees you will then spend 1 hour with them and later return to the lodge for relaxation 

Day 4-Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park

After morning breakfast you will drive to Mweya for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, if time allows you do a short game drive in the kasenyi plains in search of wildlife like elephants, buffalo, Uganda Kob, leopard, and lions, and after you will drive to the lodge for relaxation

Day 5-Explore Queen Elizabeth national park

After morning game drive you will drive to Southern Queen Elizabeth national park for game drives and sundowner, if you are lucky you may see the tree-climbing lions, these lions have adapted the climbing of trees as one of the habits of the living cycle and this can provide ultimate wildlife experience  

Day 6-Drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park

You will do an early morning game drive return to the lodge for breakfast and later do a mid-morning game drive in the plains after you will then return to the lodge for lunch after lunch you will drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park for check-in and relaxation 

Day 7-Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi forest

After morning breakfast you will drive to the starting point for gorilla trekking briefing, after briefing you will be transferred to the trailhead to start your trek, after locating the mountain gorillas you will view the gorillas for 1 hour after that you will return to the lodge for relaxation 

Day 8-Drive to Lake Mburo national park

After morning breakfast you will drive to Lake Mburo national park for game drives in the evening in search of wildlife like Giraffes, Impalas, waterbucks, Top, Buffalo, Zebras, and Leopard after the drive you will return to the lodge for relaxation 

Day 9-Drive to Entebbe

Early morning walking safari in the park with a national park ranger to trek wildlife on foot after the walk you will return to the lodge for relaxation and breakfast after you will then start your drive to Entebbe upon arrival in Entebbe you will be transferred to the airport for check-in for your flight
