Cheap Gorilla permit in Uganda, ever since Rwanda started marketing herself as a luxury destination, she increased her gorilla permit to USD1500 per person per trek which is enough for a solo traveler to do a 2 day or 3 Days Gorilla trekking in Uganda. In Uganda the gorilla permit is at USD600 now but with effect from 1st July 2019 the trekking permit will be increased to USD700 per person per trek which is still fare for a budget traveler.
Mountain gorillas in Uganda are trekked all year round and it is up you the traveler when you would like to visit Uganda for the trekking experience. We have two season in Uganda , high/peak season that starts from December to March and June to August, as these are the dry seasons of the year.
Low season and these are the rainy months of the year starts from march to May and September to November when the rain is much but the lodges put their rates down as way of seducing tourists to visit the gorillas, so you can choose to come when the cost for services is friendly but it is almost the same experience and the low season gorillas are better because of lower numbers of visitors.
