How to get to Rushaga region

Rushaga region can be accessed by either Air or road. Driving form Entebbe International Airport or Kampala the drive takes from 8-9 hours to get to Rushaga region. The drive will give you an opportunity to stop at the Equator line for photos and some informative talks before proceeding to Mbarara city with chances of meeting the Hima grazing Ankore Long-horned cattle.

Rushaga region can also be accessed from Kigali-Rwanda. One can fly into Kigali International Airport in Rwanda and drive to Bwindi National Park through Chanika border post.
