In Uganda, a Gorilla trekking permit costs USD700 per person per trek for foreigners that do not stay particularly in Uganda and in any of the East African Community countries, USD700 for foreigners that stay in the partner states of the East African Community, and then Shs250, 000 for the natives that stay in the East African Community. In Rwanda, Gorilla trekking permits are at USD1500 per person per trek for a one hour watching and observing of the Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat.
