Kahuzi Beiga National Park was created in 1970 and the first Lowland Gorilla trekking was done in 1973, when it comes to Lowland gorilla trekking it ranks high, it was gazzeted to conserve the Grauer’s gorilla species the world’s largest gorilla species.
