Experience one highlight after another as you combine East Africa’s largest wildlife experience on one itinerary, budget East Africa’s Uganda gorilla and Kenya safari starts with close encounters with mountain gorillas in the natural habitat of Bwindi impenetrable National Park before your international flight to Nairobi and then a scenic drive to Masai Mara to witness the thunder of hooves Great wildebeest migration and a host of other animals.

This trip gives you more time to interact with the local driver guides as you drive to the countryside with thrilling and scenic stops for photography and stretching, driving between destinations allows you to bond with your guides and the locals – there is a couple of night breaks at city hotels- to allow you time to share a word with people at home. All the accommodation facilities come complete with en-suite bathrooms and have outdoor areas to sit back and soak up the views. You will enjoy morning and evening game safaris and have a chance to meet the local community as well and other additional activities that are optional.

 Budget East Africa’ Uganda Gorilla tracking and Kenya Masai Mara safari –Itinerary

Day 1-2 Arrival in Entebbe – take a boat cruise on Lake Victoria to search for the elusive shoebill stork- 2 Nights

The surprise adventure starts when you land at Entebbe international airport where you are met by our representative and you drive for only 15 minutes to the Airport link, our guide from giving you a briefing about the whole itinerary and things you will be doing day by day. On the second day, you will wake up early to catch a 7 am boat ride to Mabamba Swamp where you will search for the elusive shoebill stork using canoe boats, and then you will have a chance to interact with the local fishermen. You will return to the lodge and enjoy an evening at leisure and overnight.

Day 3-5 Gorilla tracking and Lake Bunyonyi -3 Nights

After Morning breakfast, you will meet with your guide again and start your 8-9 scenic drive to Bwindi impenetrable National park; it is a very interactive drive where you will enjoy the beautiful countryside, Equator line crossing, and Great Lakes Museum. You will check-in at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge for two nights- you will have time to refresh in your room – before joining others in the restaurant for dinner. The following day, you will go for gorilla tracking in Bwindi forest National park, return to the lodge for a nap and ten in the evening, meet the local Batwa community to explore their day to day life- back at the Lodge as the night cools for dinner and overnight. On the third day – you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a breathtaking stay at the lake with a leisure cruise to explore the punishment island, then you will enjoy the sunset as you take a drink along the shores of the Lake – Leisure evening.

Day 6-7 from Lake Bunyonyi to Nairobi

After breakfast, you will meet with your guide again and transfer back to Entebbe; you will have one night stay at Airport Link Guest House Entebbe, provided that you have 7-8 hours’ drive, so we advise an overnight stay in Entebbe instead of rushing to catch the international flight to Nairobi. The following day, you will transfer to Entebbe international airport for your international flight to Nairobi where our representative will be waiting for you. Meet and greet then transfer to Comfort hotel Nairobi for check-in – you will have time in your room to take a nap – then you will visit the Giraffe manor and later return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 8-11-Discover the wonders of Masai mara Kenya

Game Drives in Masai Mara Kenya

After morning breakfast our Guide will pick you up and transfer you to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley, the trip takes 7-8 hours upon arrival you check in to AA safari lodge for a quick relaxation and later take an evening game drive in search of big game like elephants, Lions, Leopard, Cheetah Wildebeest and zebras, Gazelles as they wonder in the plains of the mighty Masai mara national reserve

For the next 2 days with a picnic lunch, you will take full day game drive in Masai Mara in search of wildlife and birds and you will arrange with the guide on the last evening to take a visit to the Masai village

NB: if you travel between July and October you may have a great to witness the wildebeest migration

Day 11-Drive back to Nairobi for your outbound flight

After morning breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and transfer to Nairobi for an outbound flight however those staying overnight will be transferred to their lodge upon arrival in Nairobi
