All Uganda National Parks are under the Uganda Wildlife Authority that is in charge of protecting and conserving wildlife in and out of National Parks. If you are interested in carrying out filming in Uganda National Parks, then a filming contract will be required. Uganda Wildlife Authority charges filming fees for filming in National Parks depending on how many members are in the crew and for how long they will be filming in given National Parks. The longer the filming days, the less the fee, on top of that, the crew has to pay for vehicle and park entry fees, monitoring fees, and a refundable fee that will be given back to you after providing a copy of the DVD to Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Filming fees charged to film in Uganda National Park
Uganda Wildlife Authority charges a fee to allow you to film and take photos in any of the 10 Uganda National Parks. All those interested in filming documentaries in Uganda National Parks will have to pay 40% of any activity fee these crews are interested in filming. On top of this, a 10% monitoring fee will have to be paid in to enable Uganda Wildlife Authority to mitigate any impact on the environment. A filming contract will have to be designed and signed between you and Uganda Wildlife Authority. Great Adventure Safaris will assist you in processing all filming permits and fees involved. In specialized activities such as Mountain Gorilla and Chimpanzee filming, Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits are supposed to be booked in advance for filming to be guaranteed. It is from this that the actual fees and dates will be derived. Great Adventure Safaris will assist in checking availability, reserve, and book your Gorilla or Chimpanzee permits for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Mgahinga Gorilla National Parks, and Kibale Forest National Park respectively.
