Fishing is a game and for any game preparation is an advantage and we expect Anglers to prepare their fishing equipment like teeing knots, leaders, setting rods for both Nile perch and live bait in the evening of the day before the fishing trips
Early morning after breakfast at 7 am you will meet your fishing head to start catching live bait depending on the activity at least two hours will be need to catch enough live bait to get started that will take you to about 9 am, after you will cruise straight to the lodge for Lure fishing at the bottom of the falls as the live bait will be out in the River so they stay a live using a bait bucket , you will fish from 10 am to about 12pm with Lures and return to the boat as the sun gets hot around that time and start fishing downstream in the pools with the live baits till 6:30 in the evening
The best time for fishing in Murchison Falls National park keep changing from time to time, from year to year but the best time is generally during the drier season months of December to March and June to early September since there is less rain.
