Our 5 Day Uganda Gorilla and Game tour, is meant for those who are on a rushing program but would like to combine a life time experience of Gorilla trekking with wildlife.This suggests that you will be picked from your Guest house in Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for your Gorilla trekking activity from there you will connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup from the Guest house in Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early cup of coffee. you will meet with Great Adventure’s guide for short briefing about the entire 5 day trip and the en-route stops you will be making on your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, before you set off for the journey.

Drive to the southwest part of Uganda, along the way have a stops at the genocide memorial site and lunch en-route in Kabale town

Proceed to Bwindi as you view beautiful scenery of rolling hills and many more.

Arrive at your lodge check in relax and have dinner.

Drive time: approximately 4-5 hours Drive.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After early morning Breakfast, you will meet your guide again and drive to the park headquarters and meet other travelers for briefing at 7:30 am about the dos and don’ts when you meet the Gorillas in the forest. Meet the game ranger and start off the hike which takes 30 minutes to three quarters of the day this depends on where the Mountains Gorillas are.

As you trek see different tree species, for bird lovers this will be your opportunity to spot a number of birds, have a chance to see the primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, mammals and many more. There muddy steep slopes your advised to use a walking stick, and a minimum level of fitness is required to have your trek a success.

Once you meet our close relatives, you be given one hour to be in meters with the Gorillas for photo shots as you listen to informative talk from the wardens and rangers. Have lunch in the jungle there after return to the lodge to celebrate the Gorilla experience you will be awarded with a Gorilla certificate.

Return to the lodge relax .in the evening visit the Batwa Community as they expose their culture the Batwa are the first people who lived in Bwindi Forest, be entertained with their amazing dances, poems and many more.

Note; Gorilla tracking in fairly strenuous, so a minimum level of fitness in required before you come for the hike.

Day 3: Depart for Queen Elizabeth national Park.
After breakfast. You will meet your guide once again and start your scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for Lunch and check in at the lodge. Take a short nap and thereafter go for the evening game drive-in the Kasenyi plains to look for the late grazers. Return to the lodge for overnight.

Day4: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.
Today, after an early morning breakfast, you will depart for an early game drive in the kasenyi plains to look for the early grazers and if you are lucky enough you may spot lions looking fr prey but we do not guarantee this as this is nature and we cannot make any appointments with nature. You may spot animals like Buffalo, Uganda kob. Water backs, warthog and many more. The reason why you will do game drives in the Kasenyi Plains in because of its plain nature and it’s the breeding area of the Uganda job, so many carnivals come to feed on them.

After lunch, you will go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which is the highlight of al the activities done n the park and Kazinga channel has the highest concentration of Hippos in the whole world. You are likely to see animals like Hippos, Buffalo, Crocodiles and many birds as they come on the shores of the channel to take water.

 Day Five: Transfer back to Kigali.
After Breakfast, Bid farewell to you’re the Lodge and transfer back to Kigali for your International flight out.
