Booking procedure for a Uganda Safari with Great Adventure Safaris
Identify your desired tour package
Choose your desired tour package depending on your travel interests, time flame and budget. Your travel interests are determined by what you would like to experience / see during the tour (for example, Mountain Gorillas, Chimpanzees and other primates, birds, wildlife, local communities, mountain climbing.
Time flame is determined by the number of days you would like to spend on your holiday in Uganda, and budget is determined by how much you would like / afford to spend on the trip. You budget will be determined by the activities and level of accommodation. For instance, Gorilla tracking is expensive, a Gorilla permit in Uganda costs USD700, and USD1500 in Rwanda.
We have budget (basic), deluxe (Mid-range) and Luxury (superior) lodges and all at different prices. Tour Package confirmation and costs
It’s time to confirm your desired tour package with our tour consultant and agree on how much you are paying per person depending on the level of accommodation and number of days. Note that Great Adventure Safaris offers memorable and affordable private Uganda safari packages to groups, couples, honeymooners and single / solo travellers. This is the high time for us to check for availability of Gorilla permits, Chimpanzee permits (if applicable) and accommodations depending on your intended travel time. Being a private Uganda safari package, you are free to choose your most convenient travel dates, but subject to availability of Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits.
Safari confirmation
You will be required to send your full names; passport numbers and country of origin to enable us reserve your permits and accommodation.
Make Payments (20% – 40% of the total cost of the tour)
This is purposely to reserve your Gorilla permits among other items. Payments can be wired direct to our company bank account, or paid online by credit card.
Once we receive your payments, we shall send you a confirmation email together with the copy of the receipt indicating the balance.
We shall immediately pay for your Gorilla permits and we normally send scanned copies just to confirm that everything is in order. Other permits like Chimpanzees and Golden monkey permits (if applicable) shall also be paid as well as lodges. A final Itinerary shall be drawn by our tour consultant indicating all lodges and domestic flights. (If applicable)
Balance Payment
You can pay your balance on arrival or in 3 weeks to arrival date. Balance payment on arrival MUST be in cash. We DO NOT accept credit cards or bank transfers on arrival. If you are paying by bank transfer or credit card, it must be at least 3 weeks to arrival date.
