How to process media cards in Uganda? – Great Adventure Safaris helps you in Media Card processing for film crew members interested in filming or photographing in Uganda. We do this by working hand in hand with the Uganda Media Council and with our favorable and long-term working relationship with them we ensure that you get your Media Cards ready in three working days.
Media Card processing in Uganda is a prerequisite to all Film Crews in Uganda. You can get a Media Card for one month or more, depending on the time you want to spend on your shoot in Uganda. Most teams spend one to three months thus requiring you to have a Media Card.
Great Adventure Safaris will start to process Media Cards for your Film Crew members after sending you a FORM G to be filled by each crew member and send it back. This FORM G is delivered to Uganda Media Council who will then use the information provided to process your Media Cards.
After filling the FORM G you will then have to write a letter to the Uganda Media Council detailing who you are, what you do and what you will film in Uganda, and how your filming will help in the development of Uganda. Once you have written this letter on your company-headed pepper, you will forward it to us and we deliver it to the Uganda Media Council.
The Uganda Media Council will also require you to send through one passport size photograph to use as they process your Media Cards as they must bear your photograph of each individual.
Great Adventure Safaris organizes Press Accreditation in Uganda for all Production companies and TV companies that contact us. With our experience we also deliver other fixing services like accommodation, transport, filming contracts, filming permissions and kit clearing services. We ensure that your film crew members are accredited to conduct filming for the period they will spend on their shoot in Uganda.
We do this in conjunction with the Uganda Media Council who is in charge of issuing out Media Cards and Press Accreditation to all journalists and film crews. As film crew members, you will require Media Cards and on our part, we will send you a FORM G, which should be filled by each crew member as the requirement for Press Accreditation in Uganda.
Uganda Media Council charges for Press Accreditation depending on the duration of your shoot in Uganda, so you need to inform us on how long you will stay in Uganda so that we advise the Uganda Media Council accordingly.
