After your early morning breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala by 7:00 am then transfer to North-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National Park with en-route lunch at Kabalega dinners. Proceed and enter the Murchison Falls National Park with a visit to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected. Marvel at the Nile, compressing from 50 meters to squeeze through a 6-meter canyon dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar. Later you will have an evening game drive as you proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Morning game drive via the Nyamsika plateau and enjoy the view and you may see some of the big five like (Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, and Giraffes), Warthogs, Bush backs, Waterbucks, Heart-beasts and many more. Return to the lodge for refreshment, and lunch, then after prepare for a boat safari on placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the falls. En route, you will see Hippos, Crocodiles, Waterbucks, and a wide variety of bird species like the Pelicans, Bee-eater, Egret, Kingfishers, Eagles, Weaver birds, and Herons, etc. The boat stops just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. Take pictures of the photogenic and majestic Murchison Falls. Return to Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your boat to go to the delta area of Murchison Falls National Park. The Nile Delta boat safari offers a chance to see lots of wildlife species that include Buffaloes, Elephants, Crocodiles, Hippos, and the rare Shoebill stock. You will also observe the Nile reducing speed as it deposits waste before entering Lake Albert. Return to the lodge for lunch and then prepare for your evening game drive to look for animals you could have missed on the first game drive. After the game drive, transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early morning breakfast transfer to Budongo forest the head offices where you will be briefed on how the tracking is done. You will then be led by an experienced ranger guide who will take you through the tracking. You are advised to carry bottled water and snacks just in case the tracking takes long. After these Chimpanzees have been got, you will be given a maximum of 1hour with them to enjoy the most thrilling experience. This Chimpanzee tracking will also allow the bird watchers to sight different bird species in the forest especially Budongo forest. After you will go for lunch and relax a little after your amazing Chimpanzee trekking experience.
You will then transfer from Budongo forest to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary home of the Rhinos in Uganda. You will check-in at Amuka Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After early morning breakfast, you will go for your Rhino tracking experience in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary home of Uganda’s remaining Rhino Population. The Ziwa Rhino sanctuary was created to conserve and the Rhinos, with intention of re-introducing them to all other National Parks in Uganda where they once lived before they were all poached. After your Rhino tracking experience, you will return to your lodge and relax, have your lunch then transfer back to Kampala at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport for your international flight out.
