Short weekend safaris-Uganda weekend adventures
Our short weekend safaris are designed to those with limited time and want to explore some of our tourist destinations and this can take you two days to visit some of our nearby National Parks.
Day 1, Transfer to the National Park
You will be picked up from your place of choice in Kampala or Entebbe for your two Days Lake Mburo or Murchison Falls National Park safari and our tour guide will transfer you to your choice of these National Parks. En-route to the Park, you will have stopovers before getting to the National Park.
For those who choose to go to Lake Mburo National Park will then go for a two hours’ boat ride on the Lake and a short evening game drive which will get you quite close to wildlife. Those who will choose to go to Murchison Falls will visit the top of the Murchison falls and also do a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Dinner and overnight stay at your place of stay.
Day 2, Game drive and transfer back to Kampala
Early morning, you will go for game drive and search for early risers and all other animals that you missed out in the previous game drive. Return to the Lodge for refreshments, Lunch and in the afternoon and check our then transfer back to Kampala. Time allowing you those who visit Murchison falls can have a chance to trek the White Rhinos in the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary on your way back. You will reach Entebbe or Kampala in the evening in time for dinner and overnight stay at your Hotel.
You can as well choose to do adventurous activities in Jinja, Jinja town has a lot to offer along the mighty River Nile, from visiting the source of the Nile, quad bikes, horse rides along the nile and to villages, white water rafting and bungee jump, visit to the sipi falls and cultural interactions with the eastern locals.
