Uganda Jinja safaris – Our Uganda Jinja Safari takes you to the Eastern part of the country with a drive of 80km from Kampala the capital of Uganda. Your first stop will be at Sezibwa Falls one of the Buganda cultural site for a cultural walk around these historical water fall. You will continue with a scenic drive and make another stopover at Mabira Forest the only tropical rain forest in the central Uganda for site seeing. This forest is rich with a good number of primates, bird species and butterfly species which are recorded and there is also a zip lining activity which you can choose to do depending on your time and interest. As you proceed to Jinja, you will view tea, coffee and sugar plantation en-route, through the small towns and villages down to the Owen falls dam on the River Nile. You will access the source of the River Nile a place where John Speke stood and spotted the source of the Nile River.

The Jinja town is located on the shores of Lake Victoria, near to the source of the Nile River. The nearby Owen Falls Dam regulates the flow of the White Nile and generates electricity. Jinja town is the largest metropolitan area in Jinja District, and is considered the capital of the Kingdom of Busoga. On this trip we can also enjoy the evening sun set boat cruise along the Nile.
