Located just outside of the downtown busyness of Nairobi, Kenya, the Giraffe Centre is easy to get to and worth the visit! The Centre is open daily from 9:00-5:00. It only costs 1,500 Shillings (about $15) for adults and 750K. Shillings (about $8) for children. If you are a student under the age of 23 you can also take advantage of the children’s rate of 750 shillings (about $8) by providing your student ID. This fee provides visitors with access to the giraffe sanctuary as well as the nature reserve across the street.
At the giraffe sanctuary, you are free to take as many pictures as you desire. You can even feed the giraffes and give them a kiss if you want! The giraffes are very friendly and perfect for photos.
When to visit the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi?

How do I get to the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi?
The Giraffe Centre is located 5km, a 40 minutes’ drive away from Nairobi city Centre. This means that you fly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and then connect by road to the Giraffe Centre. When using road, you can either opt for a tour operator like Great Adventure Safaris where you will travel in a safari jeep or you can hire a taxi, use Uber and still you can drive yourself to the Centre.
