Watch shelly’s crimson wing – Shelley’s crimson wing is the highly endangered bird species which is larger than other crimson wings with a red bill, it has a red colour from the head to the rump and blackish wings ,the tail and the chin looks olive green washed orange on the flanks.
In Bwindi impenetrable forest, it has been recorded in the bamboo zone feeding on small seeds on short grasses by bird surveyors and fewer birders.
The best place of seeing the Shelley’s crimson wing is Mgahinga national park in the gorge where it can be got but it needs a bird watcher to bird there for two or three days looking for that bird .
The time of seeing the Shelley’s crimson wing is during the dry season of a months of June to august every year.
