Safari took leadership of the family and has been able to firmly hold all its members together through times of happiness and seasons of trial. The family joyfully embraced healthy baby twins just seven months into safari reign and they were named Katungi and Muhoozi. Sadly, Katungi passed on without seeing his second birthday. Currently the family has 19 members including 2 silverbacks.

The group consists of 6 members, headed by 1 silverback called Chrismas, 1 black back, 3 females and one baby. The introduction of this group has increased the number of gorilla permits available for gorilla trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
