Rwanda camping and gorilla safaris – Many people would wonder can I camp in the national parks of Rwanda. Through great adventure safaris you can take a wilderness camping safari to Rwanda’s Akagera national park which is a home to the African big five wildlife, African big five animals are animals that help in balancing the eco system these include elephant, lions, leopard, rhinos and buffalos.
Camping is available for Akagera national park only after clients will transfer to Kigali before heading to volcanoes national park for gorilla tracking which will be on lodging rather than camping due to the conditions do not favour camping as the area receives much more rain falls.
Akagera national park is located south eastern part of the country bordering Tanzania, it covers an area coverage of 1122km , the park is famous for game drives, walking safaris, boat safaris and community visits within the national park.

-Safari package is based on 4 nights but shorter days can be arranged on request.
-Tour starts in Kigali and ends in Kigali where clients will change to normal accommodation while heading to Nyungwe and Volcanoes national park.

Rwanda is open for tourism all year round but the best months are June –August and December-February and the other months of March-May and September-November are rainy season but the it does not rain whole day so this can give clients time to visit the mountain gorillas all year round.
