Silverback Gorilla trekking in Uganda- How you can see the silverback in the wild?
Silverback gorilla trekking in Uganda, is said that the world is remaining with approximately 1000 mountain Gorillas and half of these primates are found in Uganda’s Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park. This means Bwindi forest in Uganda is a home to Silver back mountain Gorillas.
Bwindi impenetrable National Park, has four Gorilla trekking sectors/regions where you can access silver back gorillas, ie Buhoma sector, Ruhija sector, Rushaga sector and Nkuringo sector. Each trekking sector has various mountain Gorilla group/families that are well habitude and ready for Gorilla trekking every day all year round. Each Gorilla family has a dominant, (for your information some have more than two dominant males) and a dominant male in a group is called a sliver back Gorilla, they are born with their backs whitish and they are dominant in each group.
